집단미술치료 프로그램이 중학교 학습부진아의 학습동기와 학교적응력에 미치는 영향
본 연구의 목적은 집단미술치료 프로그램이 중학교 학습부진아의 학습동기와 학교적응력 에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 연구대상은 P지역 I중학교에 다니는 학습부진 청소년 중 실험집단 8명, 통제집단 8명이다. 연구대상에게 주 1회, 1회기 90분씩 총 10회기 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 효과검정을 위하여 학습동기와 학교적응력 척도를 사 전사후에 실시한 후, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 활용한 Wilcoxon 검증으로 효과를 분석하였다. 아울러 동적학교생활화(KSD)의 사전·사후 변화를 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과 는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 중학교 학습부진아의 학습동기 척도의 내 재적 동기, 수업동기, 계속동기 향상에 효과적이었다. 둘째, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 중학 교 학습부진아의 학교적응력 척도의 학교생활 향상에 효과적이었다. 셋째, 집단미술치료 프 로그램은 동적학교생활화(KSD)의 그림변화에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서 집단미술치료 프로그램이 중학교 학습부진아의 학습동기와 학교적응력 향상에 긍정적이고 효과가 있음이 입증되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 중학교 학습부진아 에 관한 향후 집단미술치료 프로그램의 지속적 개발에 대해 제언하였다.
The Effect of Group Art Therapy on Learning Motivation and School Adaptability of Middle School Underachievers
The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the group art therapy on the learning motivation and school adaptability of middle school underachievers. The study was conducted on underachievers from ‘I’ middle school in ‘P’ city, 8 students each for the experimental group and the control group. We conducted 10 group art treatments for 90 minutes at a time. In order to examine the effect of the program, pre and post measurements were conducted on the students’ learning motivation and school adaptation level, along with Wilcoxon signed-rank test based on SPSS 18.0 program. In addition, pre and post analyzation was conducted on Kinetic School Drawing. The results obtained from the study are as follows. First, group art therapy was effective in increasing the intrinsic motivation, motivation in classes, and continuous motivation for underachievers in middle school. Second, school adaptability level of the underachievers went up on average, compared to the prior scores. Third, group art therapy had positive effects on paintings at Kinetic School Drawing. Thus, group art therapy has proven positive and effective in improvements in learning motivation and school adaptability for underachievers in middle school. Based on the results above, the continuous development of the group art therapy for underachievers in middle school is suggested
